What we see most in Richmond

Doors and windows that stopped lining up

Richmond sits on Fraser River delta soil, and settlement is normal here in a way it is not on the North Shore. It shows up first as a door that will not latch, a sticking window, or a hairline crack running diagonally from a door frame corner. Almost always this is an adjustment job, not a replacement job.

Late-80s and 90s townhouse maintenance

A large share of Richmond housing went up between 1985 and 1999, which puts it squarely in the range where original hinges, hollow-core doors, cabinet hardware, caulking and bathroom fans are all reaching the end of their lives at once. This is the classic "list of eight small things" call, and it is exactly what we are built for.

Condo and townhouse strata rules

Most Richmond condo buildings restrict work hours and require an elevator booking for anything bulky. Tell us your building rules when you book and we will schedule inside them — it is faster than finding out at the loading bay.

Service in Mandarin and Cantonese

We work in Chinese every day here. You can send photos and describe the problem in Chinese, get the quote in Chinese, and have the work explained in Chinese on site. Nothing gets lost because of a language gap.
